New Members of the Eastern States Trail-Endurance Alliance Board of Directors Announced

Please join us in welcoming John Dennis Shaffer and Janice Hartkorn as new members of the Eastern States Trail-Endurance Alliance Board of Directors!

John, a Pine Creek Valley native, longtime trail runner, Eastern States 100 finisher, PA Trail Dogs member, and race director of the Call of the Wilds 50K, brings deep roots in the PA Wilds and a passion for stewardship and community.

Janice found running when she needed it most and has since become a dedicated ultrarunner, volunteer leader, and advocate for runners who never thought an ultra was possible. As Volunteer Coordinator for Eastern States 100 and a leader with Allegheny Trailrunners, she brings heart, grit, and contagious energy to everything she does.
