2026 RACE FACTS
  • Finish Rate. 268 started the event with 123 finishers. 45.9% finish rate. 
    At 33H:38M:25S, Eastern States 100 2026 was the second slowest overall in median finish times.

  • Winner and Female Overall. Kaylee Frederick.  23 hours 09 minutes and 48 seconds [23:09:48}. She beat the course record held since 2021 by 1 hour and 25 minutes. 

  • Male Overall. Francis Daley won male overall in 24 hours and 40 minutes and 24 seconds [24:40:24]. 

  • Travel to the Race. Participant that traveled the farthest was from the Philippines. Four participants were from Japan.

  • Weather. In 2026, weather conditions was warm and extremely humid. Sky conditions were cloudy to partly cloudy with valley fog in the morning. 69F at the start with a high of 88F on Saturday and 89F on Sunday. Humidity ranged from 85% to 100% Saturday AM to around 75% by afternoon. The humidity dropped slightly to 40%-60% Sunday mid-day. Dewpoints were 68F to 72F on Saturday to mid 60's on Sunday. 
    The average for the second weekend of August is a high of 82F and a low of 63F. On average, there is a 36% chance that more than 0.04 inches of total precipitation will fall throughout the day.

2026 Race Director Notes

And just like that, another Eastern States 100 is in the books.
Kaylee Frederick stole the show. Frederick won the race outright in 23:09, setting a new women’s course record and becoming the first woman in the race’s 10 runnings to break the 24-hour barrier. She crossed the finish line more than 90 minutes ahead of the next finisher.
Last year’s winner, Justyna Wilson, returned to take second female and fourth overall in 24:45, now the third-fastest women’s time in Eastern States history. Marissa Kovach rounded out the women’s podium in 27:51.
On the men’s side, Francis Daley took the win (and finished second overall) in 24:40. Just four minutes later, Gabriel Batdorf came through in 24:44 for second male and third overall. Justin Demurias was the third male and fifth overall in 26:07.
